there will be no words there will be no sights there will be no sound

This winter 2025, amidst the vast, untamed landscapes of Iceland’s Westfjords, just below the Arctic Circle, what began as a chance encounter between Terra Kitoko and artist-performer Jubilea Kucerova, became a close cooperation, an intimate exploration, delving into silence, self-narration, and deep connection. She brings in the questioning of the roles of power by highlighting the fluid and ambiguous space existing beyond the gender binary. He embarks on a journey to unravel the essence of identity through the lenses of nature and human relations. In the roughness and magnitude of Iceland’s Westfjords, their multi-media approach, inspired by Antonin Artaud’s Theater of Cruelty, translates concepts of (de)colonization, human condition, and gender into physical movements. A search for balance in a world of extremes.
